Rogers Public Library Celebrates Their Patrons.

March is a big month for libraries around the country as they prepare to celebrate Teen Tech Week and Freedom of Information Day. This year in recognition of our patrons and their considerable contribution to the community and the library a brand new web page, new web address and lots of other exciting online bells and whistles are being rolled out for your ease and enjoyment.

At long last the address of the web page will be uniquely Rogers and belong solely to the City of Rogers and the Library; therefore it belongs to all of us. The address is only one part of our brand new webpage that now features lovely areas to browse and linger over. The new page is beautiful to behold and very easy to use, so come onto our page and make yourself at home.

Along with all of this new and exciting stuff is a brand new application called, Encore that makes our catalog really fun and exciting to use. By merely conducting a keyword search it will now bring you everything, books, articles and multimedia selections all together in one place. Nearly all selections will also show you the cover of the item in question. No more endless and
frustrating hours of digging only to find it was not what you wanted after all. This saves time and makes for a fun and positive searching experience. Encore seems to be a very appropriate name, don’t you think?
