RPL invites you to join us for Lunch & Learn
PRESERVING ARKANSAS STORIES
with Connie Fetters & NW Arkansas oral history project
The NW AR Oral History Project is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to collaborate with community organizations to collect and preserve the oral history of NW Arkansas. The project receives referrals from local community groups, and volunteers interview these narrators. Results of the interview are then archived and made available to the public at the University of Arkansas Pryor Center.
The Friends of the Library host a series of Second Tuesday adult lunchtime lectures from noon to 1:00 p.m., featuring different speakers and topics running September through May of each year. Participants are invited to bring a brown bag lunch, a cookie and drink will be provided.
