All ages are invited to the Rogers Public Library’s Fall Celebration on Saturday, October 29. This program is a “Come and Go” event where you can choose the activities in which you’d like to participate. Make some fun fall crafts and play games like Pin the Spider to the Net, and Candy Corn Bowling inside the Children’s Library between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Outside the building, on the Library’s west lawn [facing Dixieland Road], from 3:00 until 5:00 we’ll offer pony rides, a petting zoo, and a Quarterback Throw Challenge, along with carnival-style games such as Bottle Ring Toss, Cornhole, and Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe. Enjoy some light refreshments while you play!
Rogers Public Library’s Fall Celebration provides our community’s families with a free, fun Halloween alternative to Trick-or-Treating, and it’s also a great chance to learn more about the Library’s materials, programs, and services.
There will be many photo opportunities at this event, so wear your Halloween costume and your best smile!
Thursday, 6:00 pm: Teen Movie.
Drop by this week for Teen Read Week and submit your favorite books for review. Share what you've read and why you like it for others to know about. After all, if there's one thing we're about at the library it's sharing, so come share your reading experience with us!
