Inside the Children’s Library
We will make 4 music-related crafts in the Children’s Library, and we’ll play lots of different genres of music in various parts of the Children’s Library including in the Storytime Room.
Crafts:
- Wampanoag instrument – in Craft Room
- Didgeridoo – in Storytime Room
- Maracas – in Tween Corner
- MandoHarp – in Study Area
We will have a special Arkansas music related scavenger hunt!
In the Friends of the Rogers Public Library Community Room, we will play a sing-along movie. Get ready to sing, dance, and enjoy popcorn and lemonade!
Outside on the east lawn
We will play some musical games outside, such as hot potato [using water balloons—be prepared to get wet!] and musical chairs using carpet squares. We’ll also have a “dance station,” where we’ll do the Hokey Pokey, Freeze Dance, etc.
