What do chocolate, eagles, folk music, telescopes, and police officers have in common?
These are all topics that have been covered during the Second Tuesday Lunch & Learn monthly series!
The new season of Lunch & Learn begins on September 11 from noon until 1 pm, with “Get Pickled: Making Probiotic Pickles Using Fermentation.” Self-described “farmer and food fermenting fanatic” Cat Swenson will be sharing her enthusiasm for making healthy and delicious pickles out of fresh veggies, including a live demonstration of techniques.
Future programs scheduled for this Fall include “Arkansas Amateur Radio” on October 9, “Olive Oil 101” on November 13, and “Gift-wrapping Workshop” on December 11. Plans for the Spring include Arkansas gangsters, the Arkansas Naturals baseball team, Rogers Community Development, and more (including a few surprises!)
