Even as we slow down a bit to enjoy the beautiful weather, the Rogers Public Library still offers adults many opportunities for entertainment, enrichment, and inspiration:
- Still feeling stressed? Joshua Duncan offers tips and techniques for managing stress and healthy reactions on Saturday mornings. Remaining programs include “Grounding Skills” (July 13) and
“Integration Techniques” (August 3).
- Thinking of starting a business? Check out “What It Takes”, a program series sponsored by SCORE on Sunday afternoons. Remaining programs include “Time Management Skills” (June 23) and “Keeping Track of Income and Expenses” (July 23).
- Want to talk about books? Many of our book clubs continue to meet over the summer, including our two newest groups. Books & Brews meets on the first Monday of the month at 5:30 at the Ozark Beer Co. Upcoming titles include American Fire (July 1) and The Rules of Magic (August 5). Our new Cookbook Club meets on the last Wednesday of each month to share food and discuss recipes from the many cookbooks in our Library collection.
- Don’t feel like going out? You can still be part of our Adult Summer Reading Program, A Universe of Stories, without even putting on your shoes! Just go to our Adult Summer Reading Program page to sign up and report what you read for a chance to win gift certificates to local restaurants and other prizes.
