TumbleBook Libary is a digital collection of children’s books in a variety of formats. No checkouts are required. Users have immediate access to all of the books in the collection, and there are no restrictions on how many people can access each book at the same time. There are several different categories of books:
Story Books: There is a wide variety of subjects, styles, and reading levels available in the story book collection. These books are animated, narrated, and feature highlighted text as the story is read.
Read-Alongs: These are chapter books that are narrated with highlighted text so that readers can follow along with the narrator.
Ebooks: Here independent readers can find chapter books that are not narrated. These include many classics and popular books for a variety of reading levels.
Graphic Novels: These are for independent readers (not narrated), including favorites like Geronimo Stilton, Nancy Drew, and Lego Ninjago.
Non Fiction: This collection includes both animated story books and text-only ebooks for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. There are many topics included, such as history, science, geography, and more.
Language Learning: This collection contains books in both Spanish and French. Many of these books also have English versions in other collections on TumbleBooks, making them great options for both children wanting to learn Spanish or French as well as children learning English as a second language.
National Geographic Videos: Here users will find a large collection of videos from National Geographic on a wide variety of topics. These are excellent educational tools.
Playlists: Not sure what to read? Check out the Playlists! These are premade selections of books separated by reading level, theme, or just for fun collections. There are also sections containing playlists for set amounts of time from under 10 minutes to over 40 minutes. Bilingual playlists are also included.
Puzzles and Games: This section has educational and fun activities for children based on the TumbleBooks they’ve been reading. There are crosswords, memory games, puzzles, and more.
