Summer Reading isn’t just for kids! Grownups can read and participate in library activities while entering to win weekly drawings for prizes such as gift certificates to local restaurants. Open to library patrons eighteen years old or over. This program is supported by the Friends of the Rogers Public Library. Sign up on READsquared to log your reading.
#RogersReads Reading Challenge is a year long program starting in January. Complete the twelve prompts on READsquared in the mission for #Rogers Reads 2023 by December 2023 to participate. We will have 12 monthly drawings and 1 final drawing for prizes. Additional information and rules can be found on READsquared.
If you want to show off your progress on social media, tag us and use #RogersReads! We love seeing what people are reading! We will be creating reading lists on our blog, Facebook, and Instagram to help you choose what book to read all throughout the year, so keep an eye out.
The Library currently hosts one regularly meeting Book Club:
Books & Brews meets on the first Monday of each month from 5:30–7:00 pm and hosted by Ozark Beer Company at 109 N Arkansas St, Rogers, AR 72756
New members are always welcome.
If you are interested in starting a book club, please inquire at the Information Desk. We are happy to provide suggestions, publicity, and support. The Rogers Public Library endeavors to have copies of the books under discussion available for checkout; we cannot always provide copies for every club member.
Achieve IT is a monthly program presented by local experts who provide information to help you achieve your goals. See our calendar for the upcoming topics.
Lunch & Learn is a monthly program (Sept – May) presenting outside speakers on a variety of topics – educational, inspirational, and entertaining. An archive of previous programs can be found on the Library’s YouTube channel. This program is supported by the Friends of the Rogers Public Library.
Meet the Author is an opportunity for local authors to meet library patrons and publicize their works. We schedule events for Sunday afternoons from 2:00–4:00 pm in the main concourse, for authors to display and sell their works. If you are interested in registering for a slot, please contact the Information Desk.
