During the month of September we will be teaming up with the Northwest Arkansas organization Operation Reboot to gather blessing bags for homeless veterans. Operation Reboot works to provide homeless veterans with what they need to get on their feet and into housing.
Items needed to create a blessing bag:
1 – Hand-written encouraging note card
1 – Heavy cotton or wool socks
1 – Bottle of water
1 – Chicken or tuna cracker pack
1 – Nail clippers
5 – Large bandages
5 – Individually wrapped wet wipes
2 – gallon zip bags (1 to fill and extra in bag)
Bring your filled bag to the library and place in the Operation Reboot donation box.
These bags will be delivered to HUD Veteran Assisted Supported Housing, 7Hills Homeless Center, and St. Francis House, Inc. by Operation Reboot.
