Kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with New York Times bestselling author Eva Chen. Join us for a live virtual author chat in the Friends of RPL Community Room on May 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Eva Chen will read aloud from her picture book “I Am Golden,” a moving ode to the immigrant experience and a manifesto of self-love for all Chinese American children. Activity kits based on the book will be available for pickup at the event! This program is presented by School Library Journal and Macmillan Children’s.
