Join us for International Game Day in the Children’s Library on Saturday, November 21! Playing games is an excellent way for parents and children to spend quality time together in a way that is both fun and rich in learning opportunities. Even if the game you are playing seems purely for fun, playing board games enhances social and communication skills such as sharing, waiting, and taking turns!
Game Day will kick-off at 12:00 pm with BINGO in the Children’s Storytime Room. In the Children’s Library TweenSpace from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm, check out some of the library’s great video games for kids and play a round or two! There is also a variety of board games available to check-out for play in the library.
