Oceans of Possibilities Final Week

Aug 2, 2022

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We are in the final week of the Rogers Public Library Oceans of Possibilities summer reading program. The final day to submit books that you’ve read is August 6. However, if you enjoyed this program, you’ll definitely enjoy our year-round version! Rogers Reads is a program that we keep up with every month of the year, and we would love to have you join in! Each month, there will be a mission to complete. Each mission involves finding a book that conforms to the theme of the month. These themes include things like: a book with a royal term in the title; a book about food that is non-fiction; and a book with a mystery set in another country.

If you already have an account with Read Squared thanks to the summer reading program, it’s a super simple addition to sign up for Rogers Reads as well. If not, it’s still a very easy process.

  1. Go to rpl.readsquared.com to create a login and password.
  2. Download the ReadSquared app if you have an iOS or Android device.
  3. Log in and enter the books you read to complete the missions.
  4. Check your email or app regularly to be notified of prize winnings.

If you complete one “mission” before the last day of each month, you will be entered to win one of our monthly prizes. If you complete all twelve by the end of the year, you will be entered for the grand prizes that we will give out at the very beginning of 2023. In the past, prizes have included gift cards to local businesses, tickets to shows at the Arkansas Public Theatre, eReading devices, and more!

You can find all of the information that you will need about this program by accessing this blog post. And feel free to visit us at the library or call the information desk if you have any questions.

We also have reading challenges for teens and children, so you can get the whole family involved. We hope to see you and your family added to the program soon!
